Normally I would not dance unless I was married, but this kind of dancing is very different than you are thinking. You start with a partner, but you are quickly passed around the room from partner to partner. The guys can be little boys to dads! It's a lot of fun, but I understand how you feel too....
Have a nice weekend!! Very Happy

Hi! Have you ever done any ballroom dancing? We have homeschool/family dances here in Idaho several times a year...they are tons of fun! I don't know how close you are to us, but we are 2.5 hours from Spokane. If you are ever in the area you should attend a dance with us! Very Happy We have people come up from Spokane and Couer d' Alene for them too. Have a nice day!

Hi, Welcome to HSA! I would love to learn ASL, as I have a deaf friend. We are comunication through writing and email, and the only thing I've ever signed to her is "Thank you". Smile Do you have any suggestions to learn? How did you learn? Thanks! (If you reply, do so on my profile, so I get your answer! Smile)

Hey girl! You've got a picture up! Very nice! Very Happy

Um, it depends--depends on how buys Justin is! lol When I joined, he was out of town, so I had to wait a while--but he'll let you on soon. Very Happy

Wow, thanks for the reply! Ok, so the written language you were talking about is just for *A*SL, right? So the motive is not for universal communication between the deaf, but plain and simple so the deaf in North America can just have their own written language, right? Neat. That's great! Whenever that's developed, that'll be really neat to learn. So what's the status with that?

Hey, gotta run, but thanks so much for the note--we'll have to chat more later!
