About Me:

Hey, I'm Autumn. :D

First, and most important, I'm a sinner saved by the grace of God, and through Faith alone!! Without Him I would be nothing and my life would be meaningless. God has worked in me SO much, and I pray, everyday, that He will continue to mold me into the women He wants me to be. I pray that He would use me, small unimportant me, to make a difference in this word! My desire is to glorify God through my life, and through the choices I make... (1 Corinthians 10:31 "So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.")

A lot has happened to me in the last year, but the biggest thing is that I married the love of my life!! He is SO amazing! I live in Montana now, and I have to say it has to be one of the most beautiful places I've been to! I feel SO blessed. I honestly don't deserve how much God has blessed me, but I am So grateful!

Some back history about me....

I was raised in a conservative Christian family. I'm the youngest of 7 children, (5 girls and 2 boys.) My Mother homeschooled all of us and we are now all graduated, which she is quite happy about. lol I loved growing up in a big family, and I have good relationships with all of my siblings! My family means A LOT to me, and I love them very much!! :D Big families are AWESOME!

I enjoy doing lots of things... :) Two of the things that I really love, and am very interested in, are Music and Photography.

Some of my favorite Bible verses are...

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. ~2 Corinthians 2:19~

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. ~Proverbs 3:5-6 ~

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. ~Jeremiah 29:11~

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. ~Philippians 4:6-7~

1 Corinthians 10:13 13 No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.

Galatians 6:9
9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

Anyways... Please feel free to add me as a friend. I love getting to know new people, and would be happy to friend you back!! :D

God bless!

Friends Notes:

OK, I was trying to be funny and failed and on top of it I did not get my point across either.

What I meant to say was that technically you can't hold to anything because you believe in predestination, so you are either predestined to hold to it or not, by your doctrine, it is not you doing the holding, your just a robot moving along life’s, God's play, smile.

I do not hold to Calvin's doctrine of the perseverance of the saints. When I said I can't lose my salvation I can't and no one can take it from me either. However I most definitely do believe that even a true believer can choose to walk away from the free gift of salvation offered by the Father, through the sacrifice of His only son Jesus.

Is this any more clear? I know I got a little rough at a couple of points, never mind me though, I am very passionate on the subject.

So I followed the link you sent and found out that I am an ISFJ too! I knew I was introverted, but it was interesting to learn about all the other parts.

Let's see, I got intersted in adoption as a kid, when I read an orphan train book and discovered that there are still kids today who need families. I've always loved kids, so adoptionwas just a natural thing!

That's fun to have little nieces and nephews to play with! How old are they? Do they live close to you?

You look at lot like another HSAer, Abby Baker. When I first saw your profile, I thought she had changed her picture again. This is her profile:

What's your favorite Kari Jobe song? I sang "What love is this" at church last month and learning that was the first time I had heard any of her songs.

Well technically by your belief you don't hold to all of the petals of the tulip, because you can't make up your own mind, your just predestined too.

I on the other hand do not believe that a child of God can lose their salvation, I do with utmost sincerity believe though that we can choose to refuse His free gift of salvation. No one can take, my salvation from me but I can.

1 Corinthians 9:26 Therefore I run thus: not with uncertainty. Thus I fight: not as one who beats the air. 27 But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified.

I have plenty of friends who are Calvinist and we do go around and around and around, so please take any of my opposition in a friendly manner would you.

You're welcome. It seem like a lot of people that used to be on the site have quite visiting. I guess we all get busy. Also, I think a lot of people have gone over to FB. I really like the idea of HSA & hope that the community will grow. The site should be getting a makeover in the near future.

Hi Autumn! Welcome to HSA! I see you have 5 girls and 2 boys in your family. That is just the opposite of my sister's family. She has 5 boys and 2 girls. She is praying about adopting a couple more soon. We were blessed to spend Thanksgiving with them.

I love music, too. I plan to go to the guitar store on Friday to look for a ukulele. What kind do you have?

What part of the country do you live in?

Have a Blessed Day! Smile

That's so neat! Do you all ever play together? I play the piano, as do most of my sisters, but one of them also plays violin and I've gotten to accompany her on a few occasions.

I'm the oldest, and no, none of my sisters are on HSA. How about yours?
