Favorite Books:

and thanks for visiting my living profile!

I come from a Christian home with two great hard working
parents who have put their children's up-bringing first and foremost in their lives. I intend to do the same.

My goals are to get married to the one and only that God wants for me and to own an organic farm that is self sufficient and independent. I am also working toward having my own business so that I can spend more time with my future wife and children. Most importantly, where God leads, I will lead my family.

Some of my core beliefs are that Christians are called to be servants and witnesses to win souls for Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior. I try to bring out the best in people and want to better their lives in any way I can.

James 1:
27"Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world."

I am an old-fashioned guy. and enjoy growing fruits, nuts and berries to eat and live the healthy life

I believe in debt-free living as much as possible.

I am blessed to be part of talented family of singers, songwriters and musicians. We have a family band and we play in our church and occasionally travel to churches and stages performing (Strictly Gospel) music of different genres including bluegrass, country, contemporary and inspirational. Our instruments that our group plays consists of: guitar, lead guitar, piano/keyboard, mandolin, harmonica, bass, drums (and occasionally violin, dobro, banjo, dulcimer & autoharp)

Our family owns a photography studio and I assist in the photography as well as help design and build the props, etc.

We, my dad and I, also are getting into making musical instruments, such as mandolins and dulcimers.

I try to be easy to get along with and keep a positive outlook on life.
So feel free to leave me a note.

The video I watched was footage of the Bates family singing at a homeschool event. I love the Bates family, but I don't get to watch their show because it's not available on my TV service. Sad

Lasagna gardening is kind of like a layered garden, you basically form a compost pile as your bed and plant there. You can look on for more information.
Yes I have heard of chicken tractors, and we've used a small one for our raised beds. They are really effective! I do love our chickens, not only for the eggs, but they help us keep from wasting food and are great to use in the garden beds and compost pile.
My favorite seed catalog is Baker Creek Heirloom seeds, but I've been doing a lot of shopping for heirloom seeds on recently. Many times they have better prices and a huge variety that you can buy straight from the gardeners who harvested them.
I had a greenhouse at our last place, and I loved it! I can't get one right now, but I'm hoping to get at least a cold frame this spring to start some seeds in.
Have a great day!
