I was homeschooled until my first day at lsu. I've been saved since I was six years old. Right now I'm going to The Chapel on the Campus, and stumbling my way through college.
I'm not your typical "girly girl" in that I like outdoor sports like fishing and camping, and I will pass up a trip to the mall in favor of sleeping under the stars next to a campfire with a group of friends in a heartbeat.
I'm a theatre major, and this semester I have attended my first live Shakespeare play. (After seeing his work performed in front of me, I now understand why it's lasted so long!) I love it!
I'm in the process of starting an informal group for former homeschoolers. The purpose will be for upperclassmen at LSU who were home-grads to help incoming freshmen get adjusted. I'm not going to be doing any formal "advertising"/recruiting until Jan. (2005), but if anyone reads this and is interested let me know!
I have been outlining short stoies for my own recreation since early highschool, and I actually finished one senior year. (If you want to read a sample, find the homeschool amature writers' site my mom(Andrea) made - I'll ask her for the url when I get a chance.)
Bible, Lord of the Rings, a pillar of iron (havn't finished it, but it's very good so far), any textbook that i can get rid of, I Kissed Dating Goodbye, Boy Meets Girl, the tempest, biographies in general, the presently untitled book that my mom is writing
