There's some good choices here. My list is quite long:

LIzzie Bennet (Pride and Prejudice)
Princess Leia (Star Wars)
Sherlock Holmes
Mary Poppins
Maria (West Side Story)
Jo March (Little Women)
Fitzwilliam Darcy (Pride and Prejudice)
Ilsa Lund (Casablanca)
Marguerite Blakeney (The Scarlet Pimpernel)
Scarlet O'Hara (Gone With The Wind)
Rhett Butler (Gone With The Wind)

And this IS NOT in order of preference!

I forgot to add two more that are really important to me:
Irene Adler
Marion Ravenwood

I like a lot of the suggestions on here.
Didn't see anyone mention these two, yet:

Eustace Clarence Scrubb (He totally deserved it!)
Edmund Pevensie

I'm surprised that no one mentioned Nancy Drew.

I always admired Nancy's fearlessness and her determination to get to the bottom of things. Of course, it was never my ambition to get knocked out on a regular basis, or get tied up and left for dead somewhere. Laughing

Seriously, if Nancy Drew existed in reality, she would either be dead, or her brain would dissolve into jelly from getting so many blows to the head. Razz
