About Me:

I'm the Bride of Blacksmith Dave! I married him on October 14th, 2017 and am going to stay married to him the rest of our lives!
We have a son named Allen.

I'm Born Again, Baptized, Believing in the KJV Bible, a Baptist & a Conservative Christian.

I have found that I love baking and have recently tried to make (and sometimes have succeeded in making) souffle, Yorkshire pudding, popovers, lemon squares, rhubarb tort, puff pastry of various methods and uses, as well as a variety of wholesome cakes, muffins and cookies and not excluding the popular coffee cake! I enjoy seeing people eat things that I have made (mostly cause it destroys the evidence that I had failed (: ).

I'm the 4th child in a family of 12. 7 Boys (The bro-in-law don't count!) & 8 Girls. (7 if you count the dog and yes, the nieces counts! :P)

I'm interested in Hunting, Fishing, Reading, Camping, Hiking, Reading, Child Care, Music, Reading, Cooking, Cleaning, Reading, Art, Sewing, Reading, Crocheting, Quilting, Reading, Writing, Drawing, Reading, Singing, Sunshine & Reading, not necessarily in that order. Once in a while, but not real often, I like to read some. :P

I work as a mechanic at my Dads engine repair shop.
I am a Silver Level Trained Stihl Technician, however I would like to return to waitress-ing once the new shop building is finished (A five year project).

I have joined The Coffee Haters Club and have been a member in good standing for more than 24 years. :P

I've also joined the Horsemen's Group

I have decided to start a new "Group". The "City Bound Country Girls"! It's for girls that live in the city, but wish they could live in the country. Pretty simple, huh? If anyone can tell me how to start a "group", I would appreciate it. :)

I guess you could say that I'm a people person, though I do like to be alone at times.

I am ant, or an aunt, or whatever, to a BEAUTIFUL little Canadian girl.

Some Random facts that are "Me":

I can count back change. :)

I wear skirts or "skants" all the time and am content, even stubborn to stay that way. ;)

I'm 5'9", but still look up to my dashing, tall, dark and handsome brothers.

I'm told I have wavy "chestnut" colored hair. When I asked what chestnut was, I was told it's brown kissed with red. Hence, my temper, I guess. :P

If you can't tell, I'm rather sporadic and I have a weird sense of humor. :P

I enjoy being myself, but like to act as well. I've been called the drama queen more than once at my house. I'm a harsh critic of good acting.

I use each of my fingers once when eating Nutella. No double dunking! :P I haven't been inclined to use my toes yet. :P

My Hill Billy name is Lula Jean and I belong to the Bodine Clan! :)

I am the official cook of the Royal Rocket Project. I am accepting requests for the menu :P

Favorite Books:

The Bible, Dressing for the Lord, Jane Eyre, King of the Wind, Sing Down the Moon, Waiting for her Isaac, Louis LaMore, Little Women, Little Men, Jo's Boys, anything by Chuck Black......This list is so long and diverse, I'm hesitant to try to put it on here for fear it might crash my computer.

Favorite Music:

Steve Pettit Team, Benjamin Everson, some from the Monkees, All John Williams except "Hairy Peter", SMS Mens Choir, Crown College Choir, some Movie Soundtracks, some songs by Peter, Paul and Mary... Another long list...

Wow, I think it is great that you are a Stihl mechanic. I really am impressed. I have a 088. I got it to use on an Alaskan saw mill but I have ending up using it quite a bit for felling & bucking.

That's cool! Smile About the only welding I've done is on a horse-cart. It's hard to get it to "stack up like piled coins" which is what I've been told is a good weld job. Wink I enjoyed it, except for the one time that I forgot to put the goggles down before I reached to arc it. Oops!
