About Me:

At Homeschool ALUMNI, I serve as Founder/Director.

I am passionate about building up the homeschooling community for a number of reasons, but chief among them is that I've come to understand that God gave us His Word as instructions on how to live and "He commanded our fathers, that they should teach them to their children, that the generation to come might know, even the children yet to be born, that they may arise and tell them to their children, that they should put their confidence in God" (Ps 78:1-8). As best I understand it, that passage, along with Deuteronomy 6:5-25, describe (in brief) what I feel to be the Lord's calling upon my life's work: To know Him, love Him with all my heart, soul, and might... and to teach my children diligently, "so that generation to come might know."

I grew up in small town Texas, moved to Missouri with my parents in the late 90's, then moved to Nashville for a season, then spent about 5 years in Greenville, South Carolina, and now my wife, Sarah and I reside, with our sons Henry, Jack, and Weston just across the river from Portland, Oregon.

I work for Sunbelt Transformer along with my brother Mac.

When I need to get away from it all, I like to play outside, read, and visit with friends and family.

P.S. Please don't send me support requests - click here if you need help - thanks! :)

All the reunion pictures were great. Michael and I really really wished we could have made it. Your little man sure is cute. That would have been worth the trip. Just wanted to say thanks for all you do for HSA and the reunions, even when we can't make them. I am sure everyone had a good time. Maybe we can make one again in the future.

Hey Camden, thanks for the FN. Yes, we had a good trip home.
Thanks again Camden for all the hard work that you put into the event and this sight. It's been a great blessing to connect with other homeschool grads and build community.

Camden, thanks for the FN!

Yes, I heard about HSA a long time ago, joined sometime after that, and really haven't been that active overall.

I got busy with life, and I don't like to post on any public parts of the forum really, but I have a feeling I'll be around here a lot more with all the new FB connections and people I met IRL at the Reunion.

Thanks for all the hospitality and inviting us everywhere y'all went the past couple days. I feel so refreshed spiritually and emotionally. Smile
