About Me:

I am me... and it is really late at this moment so I'm not writing a whole lot heh... sorry

I value my faith, church, family, and friends.

-update-
For any curious: No, I do not have Myspace or Facebook... just never got into that...

-update-
It's not late, but I still don't want to write a lot here lol

However, I will add a list of my siblings!

I am oldest then my brother Stephen.
Then our four sisters: Melissa, Rachel, Laura, and Stephanie.

All from the same parents, and we are a close bunch hehe

Favorite Books:

The 66 books of the Bible and "The Trail of Blood"

Favorite Music:

Lots... some in much smaller portions though... such as country, metal, and rap.... very small portions heh

Lots of Jazz, electronic, ambient, Celtic, some new age, some old soft rock, various mixtures of the afore mentioned, etc...

In terms of Christian music, some contemporary Christian is alright as long as it is scriptural and doesn't go overboard on the loud factor and as long as people don't start acting like they are at a rock concert when they hear/sing it... Otherwise, hymns are great :)

Friends Notes:

Yes, Uriah is still working on it. I'm going to pester him until he adds a theology section. What's the point of a forum for homeschoolers without it??

And your posts are not agitated and snappy. They are exasperatingly cool.

And by narrow-minded I meant lacking imagination, unable to think outside the box, incapable of coming up with new thoughts, but rather thinking someone else's thoughts over and over.

By "strait and narrow way," I am certain that Jesus was not telling people to squelch their intelligence and creativity, or arbitrarily conform their beliefs to someone else's opinionated interpretation of Bible verses - especially when one's own conscience and reason disagree.

I was merely saying that you are guilty of none of the above. You are, however, guilty of thinking too highly of your own opinion.

How big do you think God's mind is?

Know what I like about you? You're stubborn without being narrow-minded. A rare combination IME. Thank you for the blog comment. Smile

Oh yes, definitely! Nobody should be satisfied with ignorance or strive to remain ignorant. I love 1 Corinthians 14:20: "Brethren, be not children in understanding: howbeit in malice be ye children, but in understanding be men."

Thanks for the blog comment. What do you mean by "all other truth is important too"?

If you mean that it's important to always tell the truth, and always seek the truth, then I agree with you.

But if you mean that every person has to know how the truth about exactly how many different varieties of ladybug there are, and what color shirt their second cousin is wearing today, and how many years old the universe is, I don't agree with you. Razz
