About Me:

At Homeschool ALUMNI, I serve as Founder/Director.

I am passionate about building up the homeschooling community for a number of reasons, but chief among them is that I've come to understand that God gave us His Word as instructions on how to live and "He commanded our fathers, that they should teach them to their children, that the generation to come might know, even the children yet to be born, that they may arise and tell them to their children, that they should put their confidence in God" (Ps 78:1-8). As best I understand it, that passage, along with Deuteronomy 6:5-25, describe (in brief) what I feel to be the Lord's calling upon my life's work: To know Him, love Him with all my heart, soul, and might... and to teach my children diligently, "so that generation to come might know."

I grew up in small town Texas, moved to Missouri with my parents in the late 90's, then moved to Nashville for a season, then spent about 5 years in Greenville, South Carolina, and now my wife, Sarah and I reside, with our sons Henry, Jack, and Weston just across the river from Portland, Oregon.

I work for Sunbelt Transformer along with my brother Mac.

When I need to get away from it all, I like to play outside, read, and visit with friends and family.

P.S. Please don't send me support requests - click here if you need help - thanks! :)

Thank you about the photo. Smile Yes, we're doing well. As you can see we've been extremely busy remodeling and preparing for a closing Lord willing in June. It would be so nice to see you all again! Maybe you could come out here to our ranch once we get the cabin built! Smile That's exciting about your baby coming! You don't know the gender right? I'm sure Sarah is very ready to give birth! Smile Keep us updated please! Smile

I thoroughly enjoyed getting to meet you and Sarah as well. We'll see where God leads on the job situation. It's been a rather crazy ride. I wish you and the family the very best; hopefully I can get out that way again sooner rather than later.
