I am a quite country girl who loves the Lord and my family tons! It's fun being an older sister to 2 much-taller-than-me brothers. My parents, brothers and I all work well together as we enjoy life on our farm/ranch on the plains of North Dakota.
I really love gardening and working with the animals on our farm, especially in the Springtime when there are babies everywhere!
I enjoy baking and decorating cakes for friends and customers. I took a class from a sweet elderly lady about 5 years ago and have been experimenting ever since.
I'm currently learning to play violin from a friend who's teaching me, and love playing piano. My mom and I play piano duets often as well.
Life is never dull around here! My parents, brothers and I each have our own herd of cattle, so the cows and calves keep us busy during all of the seasons, whether it's calving season or cell-grazing season. Besides the cattle, we own goats, turkeys, chickens, cats and 2 dogs--Millie (1/2 German Shepherd, 1/2 Red Heeler) and my Lady (a Bassett Hound). I have an aquarium too, which has been quite a learning experience in itself!
As of March, 2012, I work between 2-5 days a week as a nanny/babysitter and care for 2 of the cutest little girls on the planet! I need only travel 12 miles to work, so I thank God for this wonderful opportunity!!! Before this, I worked for 2 years as a CNA at a local nursing home.
My family and I keep the Sabbath, (we rest on Saturdays---we're not Adventists though) and love watching how God moves in His mysterious ways!
I have a blog which I write on almost daily, and you're most welcome to visit me there at:
Thanks for reading and God bless!
