Well first I guess I should start with my name that is Joel. I am the youngest of four kids. I have two older brothers and an older sister. My older brother Lance is on HSA you can find him in my friends list. I was born in Tulare, CA just about the middle of nowhere in California. Now it is just about in the middle of everything. I was homeschooled all the way through 11th grade and spent my 12th grade year at a community college along with two more years after that. Overall I spent 20 years in Tulare.
Fall of 04 I went to LeTourneau University in Longview Texas.
In those three years at Reedley College I got an AS degree in Aviation Maintenance Technology and I got my A&P mechanics certificate. At LeTourneau University I got a BS in Aeronautical Science Mechanical Systems. My most current job was working for Cessna Aircraft is Wichita, KS. I was working in the Experimental Department as a flightline mechanic. I am currently working for Midwest Aircraft Services in Newton, KS. I no longer work for Midwest Aircraft Services in Newton, KS. I now live in Port Alsworth, AK and work for Lake Clark Air as an aircraft mechanic.
For those of you who do not know what my profile name means I need to tell you a story. I went to Wendys with a friend who lives on my floor at school. After I had finished ordering the clerk asked if I was a senior citizen. At the time I was only 21. So now all the guys I lived with call me grandpa. I am sure the name will follow me wherever I go.
I am also on Myspace and Facebook
Bible, books by James Herriot, biographies, and any book that is based on a historical event. I really enjoy reading westerns. Especially Louis L'Amour books.
I really enjoy to listen to Christian worship music. So here is the long list of artists they are, MercyMe, Tree63, David Crowder Band, Hawk Nelson, FM Static, Aaron Shust, Kutless, OC Supertones, Silage, Parkway, Pillar, Building 429, Insyderz, Casting Crowns, Chris Rice, Chris Tomlin, Dino, Jeremy Camp, Matt Redman. I would also like to add blasting Classical music on my new speakers is fun too.
Hey little brother, just wanted to let you know I'm shutting down my profile on here. Doesn't make sense to keep it open since I never check it and neither does anybody else. See you on Facebook and Skype.
what's up Joel, facebook is down for the second night in a row. Just finished a hard inspection today. 3 1/2 days of pure torture. Celebrated by doing a 20 mile sprint on the bike, averaged just over 21 mph. Couldn't go flat out like I wanted to. Forgot that your 'puter is probably still broke. Hope it gets fixed soon. Laters.
I was brought up to Kako in AK by a friend starting in 2006 or somewhere around there, and have been doing more and more there each year.
Neat that you know about it, and have been up there!
No, I have not heard of your ministry, where are they based out of?
