Thanks for the blog comment! I guess it was a progression of things that got us into studying and practicing the biblical feasts. When we got a glimpse of some of the ways that they are a "shadow of things to come" we got excited and started digging more.

Ooo...I just saw your recital lists. Looks awesome. I'll have to mention my junior/senior recital pieces sometime. I'm terrible with remembering names/composer of pieces on the spot, but I definitely recognize some on your list! How fun!

Wow, I'm sorry to hear about your injury! I know the feeling! I'll be praying for you. Those can be rough days, but I've learned that God's grace is sufficient and He gives the strength to trust Him in the hard times.
As far as a method for students, it definitely varies from student to student. For transfer students, I try to use what they have if possible. But I like to start students with Faber, Hal Leonard, Bastien, or Alfred. I've used lots of series and I'm pretty flexible. But I've learned I don't care for Thompson or Schaum any more.
Anyway...have you done any teaching?

Haha, well thanks for the reply after all those years! I'm doing well. Have dealt with piano overuse injury for the past two years, so I'm not playing much. I'm teaching though! About 30 students, and going strong! I volunteer one day a week at a pregnancy center doing some counseling. And I've recently started a new blog which is centered on encouraging people to be in the Word! www.journeyoftheword.com So, yeah, that's me. What about you?
