About Me:

Hi!!! I'm Britney (the one on the right), and I am originally from Indianapolis. Our family moved to Colorado when I was ten, and we all love it here! I went to a Christian school from kindergarten through second grade. I was homeschooled all the rest of the way, and I absolutely loved it! I have a twin sister and a younger brother, and both of them were homeschooled too. Right now I am taking classes at a local community college and will have my Associate of Arts degree in December of this year (yeah!!). I enjoy reading, writing, cooking, horseback riding, hiking, ice skating, and going out for coffee. I also like watching football every once in a while. :-) I love being with my family and friends! My heart's desire is to someday be a Godly wife and mother and homeschool my children if the Lord chooses to bless me with them.

Favorite Books:

First and foremost, my Bible. Some of my favorite books of the Bible include Ruth, Esther, Psalms, Proverbs, John, Ephesians, and James. As far as fiction goes, I am a loyal fan of all the Anne of Green Gables books ( and the movies too)! I also enjoy books by Robin Jones Gunn and Francine Rivers. Elisabeth Elliot and Elizabeth George are also great authors!

Favorite Music:

Let's see, I like oldies ( like Nat King Cole and Bing Crosby), classical ( Mozart, Beethoven, Debussy), and hymns ( Be Thou My Vision, It is Well with My Soul, Come Thou Font, etc). I also enjoy the Herbster Trio and Ron & Shelly Hamilton.

Hi! Very Happy
There is going to be an HSA event in Denver this month!

What: Bowling and picnic at a park

When: June 26 at 3:00 PM

Where: Arvada Lanes at 6550 Wadsworth Bypass, Arvada, CO 80003-4400

We will be meeting at 3:00 at the bowling alley to play a few games. The cost is $1 per game and $4 for shoes. Each game after the first is another $1. After bowling, we will be driving over to the nearby Memorial Park where we will have dinner. Everyone needs to bring their own sack dinner. We will have a picnic at the park and everyone can hang out, play Frisbee, and chat for as long as each person can stay. Please RSVP if you can come, so that I can reserve lanes at the bowling alley. You can message me to RSVP.
I hope to see you there!
