About Me:

"I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me." -Galatians 2:20

I am an undeserving sinner, saved by grace alone through faith alone, not because of anything I have done, but only because God had mercy upon me. God chose me as one of His elect before the foundation of the world. Jesus Christ paid the penalty for my sins in full on the cross, and His righteousness has been imputed to my account. God gave me saving faith; it is purely a gift from Him. Solid Deo Gloria!

I am Calvinist, Supralapsarian, Amillenial. I believe in paedobaptism. I firmly believe in absolute predestination.

Having graduated in 2005, I am very thankful for my home education! I am filled with gratitude to my parents who have taught me.

I love animals, especially dogs and cows. I own an Australian Shepherd named Bonny, and am currently raising two steers for beef.

I play violin and fiddle, and I'm in the process of making a viola. You can view my progress here:

I also work part time for a musical instrument internet business. Those websites can be viewed here:

I enjoy drawing, knitting, gardening, keeping house and helping to take care of my family.

Hey! By the way, since this site has basically stalled, (can't contact any admins to get threads approved, etc.) There's a new forum set up recently by some of the community, where HSAers can talk and be active.
http://homeschoolalumninetwork.freeforums.org
I've started several threads on there, so if you get a chance, check it out and consider joining us! Smile

Okay all you HSAer's!!

If you're like most of the people I know, then most of the friends that you talk to, hang out with, and care about you met on HSA.

So I'm announcing the first HSA night! All you have to do is go to your computer, look up that old familiar website http://www.homeschoolalumni.org/ and log in. "Have you ever..." gone to an HSA event in your PJ's? well now you can!

It's okay to Ramble just so long as the "last post wins". So are you coming? Don't "answer the question with a question" just "ban the person above"!

Tell all your HSA friends and I'll see ya there!

The audition DID go well, and on Monday I found out that I am now a chamber choir member! Very Happy

Are you doing anything special for Christmas? My family will just have a special meal, and perhaps go sledding in the blizzard of snow we are getting (the first white Christmas in 67 years)!
