Hello there and thanks for checking out my profile! My name is Whitney and here is a little about me.....
I was home schooled from the third grade all the way to the end of high school where I earned my GED. I'm also the youngest of three kids and I am the only person in my family to be homeschooled.
I now go to Florissant Valley Community College where I'm working towards earning my AAS in Human Services (which is like counseling/social work/psy). I really love it and I hope to go on and earn a masters degree.
I currently work at a branch of the St.Louis County Library. I'm a library cleark so I pretty much make sure everything is where we can find it.
I also work on campus at Florissant Valley as a Peer Leader.
I gave my life to christ in 1999. Since then I've been active in my church. I've gone on four mission trips and I really enjoy serving others. Right now I work as much as I can with getting our college ministry (Refuge) going. If you are 20something and you are looking for a place to belong within a christian community, then give me shout.
I enjoy traveling, meeting new people, hanging out with friends, making art, VW's, camping, MUSIC!, movies, poi, mostly just the usually stuff.

Favorite Books:
How to Stay Christian in College, Don't Waste Your Life, anything by CS Lewis, first aid books, travel books, the Bible but thats a given. I like poetry slams as well. I read mostly non-fiction in case you didn't notice.
Favorite book as a kid was: I'll love you forever......(even though it was sad.)

Favorite Music:
the only thing I dont listen to is music with a lot of cuss words. Other than that, I game for just about anything.
