I believe in God. The Eastern Orthodox faith has been my home since I was young. I ran away from home for a little while, but the prodigal has returned. I never want to stop learning about God and my faith. It has become the most important thing to me.
I am a mother. My son saved me from myself. He is the joy of my soul. I want nothing more than to raise a good man, and I will do the very best that I can.
I am a writer. Whatever feeling or thought I possess somehow makes its way onto paper, and people hear me. Sometimes, they even relate to me. I write about my own life in the hope that someone else will learn from my mistakes...or that someone who is in the same shoes as me will know that they're not alone. I write with the hope of changing the world.
The man of my dreams was my best friend for two years before becoming the man I'll spend the rest of my life with. He is the most incredible, compassionate, wonderful man, who has turned my world upside down. He's also proven himself by stepping up to the plate as my son's REAL father, and for that I am forever grateful.
I'm a family girl...I love my parents and my sisters and my nephews. There is nothing I wouldn't do for my family, and there is nothing they wouldn't do for me. They always seem to know what's best, which is both beneficial and annoying at the same time.
I don't like to judge people by first impressions. I believe that everyone is basically good until they prove otherwise by their actions. I understand we're all human, but my BS tolerance is low.
Oh, and I absolutely LOVE TO RUN. If I am not with my family or doing school work, I am running. If you're a runner, hit me up. Let's talk training...
Anyways, I think that's all there really is for me so far. I'm interested to see who else survived the homeschooling experience and to meet some other "weirdos". hahaaha
Some quotes I love:
"I ran. I ran until my muscles burned and my veins pumped battery acid. Then I ran some more."~Edward Norton, Fight Club
"I am a little pencil in the hand of a writing God who is sending a love letter to the world." ~ Mother Teresa
How fortunate for governments that the people they administer don't think. ~Adolf Hitler
Those who want to live, let them fight, and those who do not want to fight in this world of eternal struggle do not deserve to live. ~ Adolf Hitler
"Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up. It knows it must outrun the fastest lion or it will be killed. Every morning in Africa, a lion wakes up. It knows it must run faster than the slowest gazelle, or it will starve. It doesn't matter whether you're a lion or gazelle - when the sun comes up, you'd better be running."

Sound like life is cruising for you. I'm glad to hear it. Kids are so awesome, i'm excited for you guys.
I'm still bumming around the country enjoying life and avoiding responsibility. Not really but since I don't do things the way people think I should then they think I am, so I let them believe it. I'm in Maine right now building relationships with my nephews. I go back to CA next summer where I'll spend most of my summer in the woods. After that I don't know and I look forward to the unknown.
You are going to have another baby? OMG, CONGRATULATIONS! How are is your little one doing? (oh if you don't remember me, I spoke with you about the Orthodox Religion, I just haven't been around in awhile)
Hey! That is great news!!!!!! I am so happy for all of ya'll!
Things are going well down here. Got to attend [FINALLY] my first HSA event. And had a blast! We are busy trying to keep up with all of the animal stuff. Just harvest a load of honey on Thursday. I am supposed to be in there helping finish up with the 'putting up' of the last remnants in a few minutes.
We have backed off on some of the playing and singing gigs recently. It seems like life is getting even more busy recently. And we are trying to find a happy balance with everything!
Well, I wasn't really interested in dating until grad school at least, and really didn't feel the need for a man in my life...and then this completely amazing man changed my mind. We started dating last month.
